Our network brings together independent sound professionals with complementary skills and a collective track record spanning more than 500 film and screen productions. We build the right creative team for each project — from individual sound services to complete film sound post-production — shaped around the production’s creative vision, schedule and budget.
For productions throughout North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) and across Germany, we collaborate with independent film sound specialists and partner studios worldwide, bringing together the right expertise and facilities for each project.
From early sound supervision to final mix and delivery, we provide one coordinated workflow — bringing independent professionals together around the creative and technical needs of each film.

RUHRSOUND POST carries forward the experience, creative spirit and practical knowledge built over decades of film-sound work at RuhrSoundStudios.
RuhrSound was a forge for creative talent: sound designers, re-recording mixers, dialogue and sound editors, and many other specialists developed their craft there and helped shape the sound of films together.
The chapter of the former studio in Dortmund has come to an end. But the work behind it has not: the experience, trusted relationships and commitment to thoughtful, precise film sound continue.
Today, that legacy takes a more flexible form — bringing independent professionals and partner studios together around each production, wherever the work is best done.

ADR Recording & Editing
ADR recording and editing for dialogue replacement, pickups and corrections, carefully prepared for the final mix.

Foley Recording & Editing
Foley recording for footsteps, props and movement, carefully edited and prepared for the final mix. Foley for M&E tracks and partial M&E work are available on request.

Re-Recording Mix
Mixing for television, streaming and theatrical release in stereo, 5.1 and 7.1 surround, nearfield formats, Dolby Atmos HE and Dolby Atmos Cinema.
